Reports
Reports is the analysis and export layer of SafetyBrik. Open it at /safety/reports. This is where you generate the EHO Report Pack - the single PDF you hand to an inspector, or that you review yourself once a month.
EHO Report Pack
Pick a date range (defaults to the last 90 days) and an optional location, then click Download PDF. SafetyBrik compiles a single document covering:
- Safe Methods - every method in your pack, what is completed, what is marked not relevant
- Checklists - completed vs total checklist instances in the period
- Temperature logs - all temperature checks, including out-of-range readings
- COSHH register - chemicals on file and how many have data sheets attached
- Risk assessments - current assessments
- Equipment - registered equipment
- Cleaning safety records
- Corrective actions raised in the period
This is the artefact most EHOs want to see, packaged the way they expect to read it.
Summary tiles
Above the date picker, four tiles give you the headline numbers for the selected period and location:
- Checklist completion - the percentage of expected checklist instances that were actually completed
- Out-of-range readings - temperature checks that fell outside their safe band
- Corrective actions - how many were raised
- Safety score - SafetyBrik's overall score for the location (the same number that appears on your dashboard)
Use these as a quick health check before exporting the PDF. If checklist completion is unusually low or out-of-range readings have spiked, it is worth investigating before an EHO does.
Section status
Below the summary, each section of the EHO pack shows what data is currently on file:
- Safe methods completed vs total (and how many are flagged not relevant)
- Checklist instances completed vs total
- COSHH chemicals with data sheets vs total
- Risk assessments currently in force
- Equipment registered
- Corrective actions raised in the period
If something reads "0/12 completed", that is a gap to close before you generate the pack for real.
Date ranges and locations
- Date range - the From and To pickers default to the last 90 days, but you can stretch the window as far back as you have data, or zoom in to a single week.
- Location - if you run more than one site, the location tabs at the top let you generate the pack for a specific location, or for the whole business.
Reports vs Prove It
These two pages do different jobs:
| Prove It | Reports | |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Live proving log | Aggregated analysis and EHO PDF |
| Time horizon | Right now and this month | Any date range |
| Use case | Logging cooking/chilling/calibration checks | Monthly review and EHO inspection |
| Output | On-screen records and pass/fail | Downloadable PDF and summary stats |
Use Prove It to capture data as it happens. Use Reports to bundle that data, plus everything else in SafetyBrik, into a single document.
Generate the EHO Report Pack on the first of each month for the previous month. It takes seconds and gives you a permanent record of where the business stood at month-end - useful for 4-weekly reviews and for board or owner reporting.
